It is produced only in exceptional vintages and fermented for 12 months in fine 400 L French oak barrels. <em>B\u00e2tonnage\u00a0<\/em>lasts 12 months. It is one of the most outstanding white wines of the Lisbon wine region, and has earned the producer numerous awards.<\/p>\n<p>Complex, mineral and smoky on the nose. On the palate it is full and creamy, with even acidity and a saline finish. It shows ripe yellow stone fruit and a light smokiness. The wine is ready to drink now, but can be kept for another 5-7 years to bring out further nuances. Decanting is recommended so the wine opens up faster and gives everything it has to offer!
