The aroma is dominated by ripe blackberries, black plums and blackcurrant, joined by dark chocolate, toast, black olives and the black pepper and herbal nuances characteristic of Carmen\u00e8re. The taste is full-bodied and velvety, with ripe soft tannins and a long, spicy finish. Cabernet Sauvignon adds structure to the wine, while Carmen\u00e8re lends it juiciness and a silky texture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"1154\" data-end=\"1381\"><strong>Bodega Volcanes de Chile<\/strong> focuses on wines that reflect the character of <strong data-start=\"1216\" data-end=\"1249\">Chile's volcanic soils<\/strong> . The winery's philosophy is to highlight the minerality of the growing site and the pure character of the variety in each wine, avoiding excessive oak influence. The grapes are grown in various Chilean valleys, where soils of volcanic origin help retain moisture, provide good drainage and give the wines a special freshness and mineral character.
