Cavazza Pinot Grigio is a grappa a fresh and elegant white wine from Veneto, whose strengths are pure fruitiness and easy drinkability. This is a light, dry and refreshing winethat works well both as an aperitif and with food.
The aroma highlights pear, green apple and white blossoms, with hints of citrus and minerality in the background. On the palate the wine is dry, light and juicy, with good acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
Cavazza is a family winery operating in the Veneto region, whose winemaking history dates back to 1928. Today the company operates in the Gambellara area, and Cavazza's vineyards are located in both the Gambellara and Colli Berici areas. The producer is especially known for its Garganega-based Gambellara wines and classic Veneto varieties, but their portfolio also includes Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot and other international varieties. What is interesting about Cavazza is that it is not simply a “big Pinot Grigio factory”, but a family producer whose identity is strongly tied to Veneto's volcanic and limestone growing sites.
