AdegaMãe Alvarinho

1275 €

The Alvarinho grape variety is best known in the Vinho Verde region, but thanks to Atlantic influences, the winemakers of the time dared to plant it in southern Portugal 15 years ago. The Atlantic Ocean brings coolness, which helps keep the grapes from over-ripening. There is also a pleasant light saline minerality. The wine is fresh, zesty, aromatic and delicately floral.

Perfect for enjoying on its own or with lighter dishes. In your cooking, feel free to use more aromatic ingredients — it goes especially well with goat's cheese! As the wine has plenty of acidity, you needn't hold back on citrus when cooking either.
