Charly Nicolle Cremant de Bourgogne AOC Brut

2600 €

Charly Nicolle Crémant de Bourgogne Brut is an elegant French sparkling wine from Burgundy, made by the traditional method – the same principle as Champagne. It combines the elegance and minerality of Burgundian Chardonnay & Pinot Noir with the fine bubbles of sparkling wine. The wine ages on the lees for 8 months in steel tanks, followed by a further 2 years in bottle.

In the glass you'll find ripe apple and pear, lemon zest and white blossoms, a hint of toasted bread, brioche and nuttiness, and fine minerality. The taste is dry, fresh and creamy in texture – the bubble is elegant, not aggressive. It is an excellent aperitif, but also a very food-friendly wine.

Domaine Charly Nicolle is located in the village of Fleys in the Chablis region, in northern Burgundy. The family's viticultural tradition spans several generations, and Charly Nicolle founded his estate in 2011. The winery focuses mainly on Chardonnay and the Chablis terroir, producing Chablis, Petit Chablis and Cru wines in addition to Crémant de Bourgogne. Pinot Noir is used only for sparkling wine.
