AdegaMãe's flagship red, Terroir Tinto, stands out for its elegant and multi-layered character. It is produced only in exceptional vintages and matured for 18 months in fine French oak and then further in bottle, to bring out the unique terroirshaped by the region's Atlantic influences. It is one of the most outstanding red wines of the Lisbon wine region. The aroma reveals complex resinous and mineral nuances and ripe black berries. On the palate the wine is powerful and structured, with ripe, intense yet perfectly balanced tannins. The wine is ready to drink, but can be kept for another 8-10 years to bring out further nuances. Decanting is recommended so the wine opens up faster and gives everything it has to offer!
