Little Grazer Sauvignon Blanc
1550 €
Little Grazer Sauvignon Blanc is a classic Marlborough-style Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. It is a fresh, aromatic wine with very lively character, showing citrus, lime, grapefruit, elderflower, passion fruit and a light green herbal note. The taste is dry, crisp and mineral on the finish – typical of a cool-climate Marlborough wine. This is a wine that doesn't lean on oak or weight, but on pure fruit, freshness and drinkability.
Little Grazer comes from the Marlborough Wairau Valley on New Zealand's South Island – a region world-famous for its intense and aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. The name of the label refers to the little “grazers”, the animals that roam between the vines in winter and contribute to the life of the vineyard through natural pasture management. The producer's idea is to bottle the energy of Marlborough's nature – a sunny but cool climate, maritime influence and mineral soil give the wine vivid fruitiness and a clean finish.
When pairing food and wine, stick to lighter, aromatic, fruitier – perhaps even slightly spicy – flavours.
