AdegaMãe Dory Tinto MAGNUM (in a wooden box)
2470 €
Dory is one of AdegaMãe's core brands. It was created to honour Portugal's cod-fishing heritage. “Dory” refers to the very boat depicted on the bottle, which was used for catching cod. As cod is not found near Portugal, it was fished off Norway instead. Many such boats were sent out to sea at once from the “mother ship” and returned only when the whole boat was full of fish.
The wine itself is a blend of four grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Castelão, Pinot Noir and Aragonez. Dry, full-bodied, berry-driven, ripe, lightly floral and with soft tannins. Partly aged in old French oak barrels as well.
Compared with the standard-size bottle, this wine has even softer tannins and slightly lower acidity, but still that same riper, berry-driven character, which makes it extremely easy to drink.
Perfect for enjoying with a larger group, alongside shashlik or with light snacks.
