Cavazza Garganega

1110 €

The grapes used for this wine come from vines grown on basalt-rich volcanic soil. The average age of the vines is 30 years. Garganega is a grape variety best known thanks to Soave wines, where it is used at 100%. This pale yellow wine carries delicate notes of apple, citrus and peach. The taste is dry, with crisp acidity, and juicy. There is also a light almond nuance. Thanks to the soil mentioned above, the wine also shows a light minerality.

As for food, lighter, simpler, cleaner flavours that are not too spicy work best. In general, Mediterranean flavours work nicely.
