Sutter Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC Alte Reben

1615 €

Made from Austria's most popular white grape variety, this wine is fresh in character yet lightly creamy thanks to several months spent on the lees. With light tropical undertones, it shows stone fruit, a hint of walnut and white pepper. The wine is mouth-filling, complex and with elegant acidity. The finish lasts a long time.

Thanks to the lively acidity and freshness in the wine, combined with its soft creaminess, it copes perfectly with ingredients up to medium richness. The classic pairing would be Wiener Schnitzel. Just add a little butter and lemon and nothing else is needed! For a plant-based version, replace the meat with an ingredient you like.
