With Vitis Nostra Primitivo it is worth emphasising that this is the classic Puglia Primitivo style, not a very oaky or overripe wine. It is a juicy, ripe and berry-driven red wine — a good choice for anyone who loves richly fruity wines with soft tannins.

The aroma is led by ripe dark berries, black plum and blackcurrant, along with cherry jam, a light spiciness and a hint of vanilla. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, warm and velvety, with soft tannins. The ripe fruit gives the wine a rich and juicy character, while its freshness keeps it from becoming too heavy. The finish shows plum, black cherry and sweet spices.
